Toronto Islands – Toronto
With 3 different areas on the island to explore, the Toronto Islands is nothing short of beautiful scenery. With a carnival area, multiple beaches and bicycle rentals, the options are endless on the island.
Ontario Place – Toronto
A great hidden location, Ontario Place offers luscious trees and a beautiful skyline view of Toronto, along with a wooden bridge and rocky areas. The skyline view is east facing, making this the perfect location for a sunrise session or blue hour spot.
Riverwood Concervancy – Mississauga
A beautiful location full of colourful blooms & greenery, best time to visit would be in the spring, summer or fall for full colours.
Kerncliffe Park – Burlington
Hidden away in Burlington is this Kerncliffe Park. With a boardwalk over the wetlands surrounded by rocky cliffs, this location is perfect in the fall to see all the changing colours. The park also has hiking trails with full trees for the adventurers.
Scotsdale Farm – Georgetown / Halton Hills
The ideal location for your next summer or fall session! Scotsdale Farm offers rolling hill views surrounded by trees and grass. The dirt road that takes you in also leads to a large farmhouse near a river and well. The complete package for a more rural session.
Niagara Botanical Gardens – Niagara
One of my favourite locations, this botanical garden offers greenery, colourful blooms, a pond area with a wooden bridge, large willow trees and so much more! Also on the property is the Butterfly Conservation – an added bonus!
Dundurn Castle – Hamilton
Looking for an elegant, high-end looking location? Dundurn Castle is your spot! With an overlooking cliff in the rear of the castle, the castle’s architecture offers so many different corners to shoot in.
Gairloch Gardens – Oakville
My absolute favourite Oakville location, this spot has a very romantic vibe to it. Colourful florals surrounded by greenery, and right on the lake! Get the best of both worlds with the garden style & waterfront views near the rocky area. Perfect for a sunset shoot to get a beautiful glowy, magical look.
Scarborough Bluffs – Scarborough
A favourite in the summer time, a fun location to get cozy in the sand and splash in the water. This location is stunning at sunset while the golden glow sets behind the cliff.
Cherry Beach – Toronto
Another beachy location, Cherry Beach has a beautiful dock and calm waters, surrounding the body of water with trees. Ideal time to visit is for a sunrise session before it becomes too crowded in the summer. Image by: Mango Studios.

In the heart of downtown, the Toronto Music Gardens is a beautiful location featuring a dome structure, an amphitheatre setting & a large willow tree near the water. Image by: Nicole Kirk.
Bronte Creek – Oakville
With so many areas within Bronte Creek offering stunning backdrops, my favourite area is near the campsite, right before the parking entrance! A little secluded, quiet and the perfect location to be intimate. This location is perfect for your next sunset session while the sun glows through the wheat grass.
Oakes Garden Theatre – Niagara
A true gem in the heart of Niagara Falls, the Oakes Garden Theatre is the best spot for a view of the falls, as well as the beautiful architecture the theatre has. There is also a nice shaded garden area to walk through with a stone bridge. Ideal to visit for a sunrise session before the crowds arrive (popular tourist location).
Secret Location – Hamilton
I found this location on a drive in Hamilton one day – on the side of the road! Honestly, the best locations are always off on the side of the road in my opinion, especially those locations with fields and tall grass! This location is perfect for those looking to have more of a “Utah” looking backdrop, overlooking the city of Hamilton.
Secret Location – Whitby
Another secret location, this location is actually meant to be a dog park with trails! It has so many beautiful pockets, perfect for a golden hour shoot. This location offers hilly views & green grass – as well as wheat-like grassy areas.
