On this cold November afternoon, Tyler and Betsy warmed me up with their proposal in front of the skyline with this Toronto proposal photographer. These two travelled up Pennsylvania to see the sights and pop the question on their weekend trip to the city. What started as a cold ride across the Lake Ontario ended in warm, cozy cuddles! We explored the island and the different backdrops it has to offer. Giving a great blend of nature and urban settings.

One of the most unique places in Toronto is the island. There are so many great spots to photograph couples between the island houses, beaches, amusement centre and more! This spot has so a variety of backdrops and activities to do. I always recommend to my couples that having an activity is such a key part to making the session. It helps loosen you up, gives us a point of interest and keeps things light. Here, there are no shortages of date ideas! Go kayaking, grab some ice cream at the pier, rent a tandem bike, go for a picnic, set sail on a boat, walk the island pathways, have fun on the beach, explore the farm area, set sights on the amusement grounds, rent city bikes and ride the strip… the list really does go on!

Proposals on the Toronto Island are always so fun, especially for visitors to the city! I love acting as a little tour guide for my couples while documenting unforgettable moments in their relationships.
